I am a member of the British Merchant Navy Old Friends newsletter at my private email address. However, I wonder if you can help us.

We are raising funds for some urgent preservation work on the ship, HMS WELLINGTON, which is moored on the Thames by Temple Stairs, Victoria Embankment.

A Grimsby Class Sloop, she is the last surviving battle of the Atlantic convoy escort ship afloat in Europe, have served as escort to 103 convoys in the battle of the Atlantic.
