Built in 1948, the former Stockholm sails on, to this day, 68 years old since her completion and the oldest cruise liner still in service. She's now the Astoria, doing European charters. We caught her last year, in Iceland, but then called Azores​
[/I], one of her many names over the years. Thoroughly rebuilt, very contemporary on the inside and with new engines, her exceptionally strong hull, initially reinforced for North Atlantic ice, has endured and kept the 525-ft long ship going.
