    LEST WE FORGET

At the passing of the night time,
    When dawn begins to show,
    We'll pause a thoughtful moment,
For those we used to know.

At the passing of the day time,
    In the evening's afterglow,
    We'll pause a thoughtful moment,
For those we used to know.

    Ian Adrian Millar

    Remember today is Armistice Day.
Ąt the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, World War 1 came to an end in 1918.

    Lest We Forget.

Doing my volunteer bit today with a group of men of various ages.
At 1100 hours we stood and viewed the service from the Canberra War Memorial, not a sound was heard, just a few moist eyes.

A new guy began today, from Uk been out here for many years now.
He told me his father was on the D Day landings on he thought Juno beach.
His father he said told of some horrific scenes and actions then.
