Army bereavement

Good morning Doc. My next door neighbour passed away yesterday, (Friday) He was a dedicated army man who served his country well.
Is it possible, or admissable, for me to make an announcement in the Army section, in the hope that some of his old comrades might
see the thread and be aware of his passing.
I have spoken to his daughter, and, without commotting myself, or promising anything, she would be delighted if her fathers passing could be
passed around the country to his old mates.

I dont see any reason why you cannot go ahead with a Posting on him.
Either in the Army Section ,or it can also be posted in the Condolences Forum ? https://www.merchant-navy.net/forum/condolences/ Whichever you think may be the best to try and attract others who may have known him.
My Condolences to his Family and you Colin. May he rest in peace.

Hi Doc. Very many thanks for your permission. I will wait till after the funeral till I get together with his family
and see what we can come up with for them.
