    Default Unknown Warrior's Pallbearer

Not so long ago, the grave of Lt Col Borton was covered with long grass, weeds and bramble bushes. The people of this village should feel ashamed of themselves for leaving such a grave unmaintained.
    Please read the html.

Sadly there are many such graves.
We have numerous such here in Oz, great while the family is alive and living near by, but over time they move and there is no one left to care for the grave.
Brave men who did what they did for all of us now forgotten.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Vernon, that would not be too far from where Mike lives, I know the area fairly well myself.

Although the long grass, weeds and bramble bushes had been removed from the Colonel's grave in St Mary's Churchyard it was still in a dilapidated state in 2012 before this work was carried out in 2014.
