Alfred William Amey was born in 1860. He was Chief Officer on Board SS Cyrene 1890.1891 he was promoted to Master, and then held commands on steamers in Messrs Lamport and Holt's fleet, including Titian, Buffon Cervantes, Phidias and Memling. He died in 1918 at Chatham.
I should be grateful for any additional information about him, or about the ships he served on.
