Sailed with this company from about 1970 to 1985 as an Engineer. Very substantial tanker company. Very good conditions and salary.
Redundancy ended it. I would not have left them to go anywhere else. Do not seem to hear much about them now. Took a few of the ships to scrap, not a nice job.

Thanks Castleman I know that site.

They had tankers running from T2's, 1944 build up to about 1984 build. In the mid 1980 they moved out of tankers altogether. They run to a lot of places.

I went to the scrapyards with some ships around that time and you could not get a parking place. I think the whole cycle is starting again now and we might see a lot of shipping lost.

A large malt whisky revives me nowadays that is about all. Nice to hear from you.
