    Default music at sea

after the sinking of the gloucester castle and the suvivors off other ships was transfered from the raider to the tanker supply ship we where stuck down the hold it was not very nice being at sea for a couple of months we came up with the idea of having concerts and believe me it was very funny we had singers dancers even a stripper but every one had to give a item when came to my turn i sang maggie may and one of the american seaman got me to learn him the words it was to be a good thing for me as we became good friends in our days as pows one guy was a ex opera singer and he could really sing even the germans use to come and listen to him
