More Travels
I thought my traveling days was just about over but my family decide it is not .
First of all i am off to Auckland for a few days to stay with my Daughter Tina and her family they did live in the UK but her Husband got the chance of a good job so they moved to NZ .
The other day i received a invitation to my grandsons wedding in Newcastle NSW Australia in October so it looks like i will have to keep fit .
This is all being organized by my family so who am i to argue with

Re: More Travels
Hi Lou.
Good on you mate, just go and enjoy yourself, if your family want you to visit all expenses paid the only thing I can say is that your late wife and you must have given them a great feel for family, something not seen much these days. Enjoy Auckland and hope your visit to Newcastle goes well.
Cheers Des

Re: More Travels
Lou, when my late father's older brother died [no children]all his money went to his wife, she in turn left a sizeable sum to her nephew in Canada. My sisters and I told our parents, leave nothing, spend and enjoy your well earned cash.... We are well able to take care of ourselves. Hope you have a wonderful time

Re: More Travels
When I'm all done living alone I'll have two options. No.1 is to spend winters in Florida where my son is moving to from Virginia U.S. soon. No.2 is to my daughter in Deep River, Ontario to spend the summers. That is a 2 hr. drive north of Ottawa. Both will be free and gratis since they have their inheritance and are comfortable, as I will be...being pampered, fed clothed, boozed and cigars. No more having to do for myself!!
Cheers, Eric
