A Good Day

Indeed Lou, echo the sentiments of others, the main concern is the O.K. clearance from your GP. Well done you.
This time last year I was watching my brother in law visibly dying every day. He had terminal cancer, as well as suffering from a stroke which left him paralised and unable to walk. The poor guy was only 64 when he died.
From now on my motto is live for the day so if you have won 40/50 bucks on a scratchcard go out and enjoy a few beers or buy a bottle of booze. This is not a dress rehearsal that we are in, but the real thing. Enjoy.

Subject: Letter from a friend




Dear friend,

I have become older since I last saw you and a few changes have come into my life.
Frankly I have become a frivolous old woman. I am seeing six gentlemen a day.
As soon as I wake up Will Power helps me out of bed and I immediately go to see
Jimmy Riddle. Then I have breakfast with Mr Kellogg followed closely by the refreshing
company of my other friend I know only by his initials, PG! Then comes someone I don't
like at all, Arthur Ritis. He knows he is not welcome but stays all day, only he doesn't
stay in just one place, he takes me from joint to joint. After such a hectic day I'm glad to
get to bed ( and with Johnnie Walker too! ). Oh yes, must tell you this, I'm flirting with
Al Zheimer.
The vicar called the other day and said he had been thinking about the hereafter. I told
him I do that all the time ,for no matter where I am, the bedroom,kitchen,sitting room or
garden, I ask myself 'now what am I here after?'
I will close now with the hope that Will Power is your constant companion too, but do make
sure his friend Emma Roid does not creep up on you from behind. Finally, watch out for the
crafty Gerry Atrick.

Opened my eyes the other morning. Nothing hurt. Got a helluva fright!
