Now Vernon it is abouttime you told members the truth. He arrived on one of the South Sea islands and has been abducted by some of the maidens there, the ones in the grass skirts. How long they keep him depends on how long it takes Ann to find out he is missing, then it will hit the fan. In the meantime I have it on good authority that he is having a ball, which may sound a bit confusing as he is with all those females.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Cappy am making arrangements to borrow an aborignes sheep. Don't reckon he will notice unless he gets a hold of the ears. He may even have his seaboots with him. Cheers Jiohn S.

Thanks Alf. Will go to the bottle shop tomorrow and see if they sell Cassava. If not will get him a couple of coconuts and he can do his own spitting. He"s probably reading these posts about him so will probably be a big explosion when he gets back on air, will be coconut everywhere. Cheers John S.

Oh Alf mate! the young Fijian maramas in days yore chewed the root of the peppery yaqona (yanggona) plant and spat it into a tanoa where it was swilled around in water, the debris removed and the result was kava. (cassava is manioc or tapioca root originating, I believe, in South America). it was drunk from a (m)bilo - a half coconut shell. I liked it.
