    Hi Lou.
I've walked up that street and boy although I was in my twenties my legs were stiff for a fortnight.
Didn't a young bloke come down it in a dustbin at one time? I know there were some silly ways of getting down it.
    Cheers Des

In Los Cristianos Tenerife back to our apartment was known as Cardiac Hill.that was steep we had my wifes sister with us coming back the first night I was egging her on "come on you can do it".She has angina and was nearly rubbed out, from then on it was a taxi everynight just up the hill.

Another steep climb Jim was if you got there (sure you did) was St Helena with its 699 Steps to the Top!
Hard going up there but coming down the young Lads of the Island showed us how to slide down the hollowed out bannisters!
But you had to know how otherwise it was Bums up and Heads Down LOL!
    Cheers
