Talking of meet ups many have spoken about Aphrodites here in Liverpool.Aphrodites is visited by stag parties from all over the place not least Ireland.Jane the manageress was talking to John Gill and me on Friday about one such Irish contingent of about 30 lads. One of these lads kept on touching the stripper which is definitely not allowed. He was escorted off the premises by the two bouncers, next thing all hell broke loose it was a riot, they were all in the street trying to smash the door down. The bouncer turned a fire extinguisher on them,I imagine it must've been foam,Jane said it was funny to watch as the crowd was slipping and falling all over the place until the police arrived.

Well i am back but first of all i would like to wish Des Taff a very happy birthday .What a weekend my son in law Brian had a family reunion over the weekend To start off Brian and myself went to the local pub ( The Old Goat)sank a couple of pints .The next day(Saturday)we took off in the car for a place called Ducklington about 17 miles from Oxford. This is where Brians family use to live .A lovely warm day We sat out on the back lawn with about 20 people having a few drinks then a BBQ >Met some very nice people .Then back to my daughters place really tuckered out now a couple of days taking it easy then off to Southampton

I have just read every word describing Lou's travels around the UK. Every one of the members who have given him such a welcome deserve a cheer or three. As for you Lou, you must be made of the right stuff to have the stamina for all of this at your advanced years. I am proud to be associated with such a fine group of men even only through the medium of the computer.
Enjoy Southampton Lou and a safe trip home. I look forward to reading your journal on your return.
You said it all Neil
Same goes for me too!
Cheers and thanks!
