Re: Hello to all and a Happy New Year
#2.. Its a company cap badge Vernon and classed as company livery. If it had A blue R on a white burgee it would have been Runcimans.. HH hungry hogarths ??!!! Is not MN uniform as such. MN uniform like HM forces has the monarchs crown on the uniform. This was granted when King George ? Bestowed the title of Merchant Navy. To go with that company cap badge will be company brass buttons. Maybe even white socks and brown shoes. That’s a joke. Cheers JS.

Re: Hello to all and a Happy New Year
So a happy new year to all our members, but I fear it is passing too quickly.
Returning this morning from two week cruise over Christmas/New Year I went to the supermarket and discovered it is Easter already!
So many Hot Cross Buns in the shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Hello to all and a Happy New Year
#4 I have just looked at the Hogarth's house flag which is a white H on a blue background and a blue H on a white background both in Times Roman script with the top and bottom of the flag being edged in red. The photograph all though in black and white appears to me to be a replica of this. That John was a very good guess.
