Och Laddie I was a BP slave (R/O) from 1961 to 69 when I saw the light and went foreign flag (Danes) and finally Aussie coast and offshore oil gas and construction. Ex Arrochar and Helensburgh now well retired. Only went back to Caledonia once - that was enough !! Cheers, Bill

I was on the British Captain and the British Merlew in 1974 and 75 respective was a Galleyboy come, pantryman, great ship the Captain, Merlew baltic run and only did 3 months
