I am the worlds worst for the on line Archives, our site main moderator is one of the chaps that can advise best before your visit to Kew. K.
Sadly not. No names I recognise. He lived in Bristol from the 1970's where he was a chef and met my mother. His birth place was Reynoldston, Swansea. It says on his book that he was a member of the NUS - No 344678 (Not sure if this means anything at all?) It looks like service was discontinued around 1967 - last ship listed was British Guardsman 301004 - Liverpool, March 1965 - FRGN (Voyage description) and rating was S.Cook/Baker
