Ahoy
Hi folks, Just to say hello and that I have no direct connection to Merchant Navy (although do sail a yacht) except my Grandfather was George Douglas Bonner and was captain of SS Culebra reg in Liverpool but sadly sunk by U123 in Jan 1942 North Atlantic with no survivors. I am researching my Grandfathers history and would love to hear from anyone who may have known him or relatives that were also lost on this ill fated crossing. He also served on Kildalton and other ships.
