Glad to be on board
Thanks for the acceptance on board. Looks like a great site with interesting posts. I am an (old) Bank Line man from the 1950's and with Sealink time in the 60's. Have written articles published in Sea Breezes and other magazines, and there are a couple of books about my antics and time at sea. A memoir called " Any Budding Sailors?" and another focussing on apprentice days called " Merchant Navy Apprentice 1951-1955"

Re: Glad to be on board
Alan, welcome aboard to the best ship left in the once great British Merchant Navy.
A motley crew from all manner of ships but a friendlier lot you would be hard pushed to meet.
Sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage, where ever it may take us.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
