A big thank you
I joined this site about 10 days ago and have spent much time since thoroughly exploring all sections.I have listed all ships on the crew list.
Today i went through the members names and discovered a surname of one of 2 brothers that were on the Port Montreal with me.
I thought it was a long shot but contacted him and lo and behold it was the younger brother and we are both absolutely delighted to chat for the first time since about 1968 or so.
If it wasn't for this website this would not of occurred so many thanks to all involved in supporting and keeping the site on-line.
I will try to find other mates but even if this doesn't happen i've still had more pleasure than i was expecting. Thank you and long may you remain and prosper

Re: A big thank you
I was on the Port Montreal from 1969-1970 so a long time after you, but we had such a great crew that it ranks as my best ever ship and cannot ever be forgotten. It was pure craziness for the entire journey.
