    Default THis is not politics

As the title says this is not politics but unfortuanetley they have to be used as an example of how the System is probably used in other walks of life also. If this is expunged then people are getting unworthwhile information.
60 members of the federal government have now reported they will not be running in the next elaection.
There is something to consider, in 2015 a change in the pension for MPs that the age for full retirement for an MP having served at least 6 years , will no longer be 55 years but 65. Thus any MP not yet 65 and wants to benefit from the present pension scheme need only not run in the next election, and thus will draw for 10 years longer a government pension of over 100,000/ year.
For an elected MP approaching 55 who is not running that means $1 million that he/she would not receive should he/she run and win again. One should also add the severance premium between 80,000 and 125,000 upon his or her departure.
You can now understand better all these sudden family emergencies,
This is a much abbreviated version of this report m but to me also covers the actions which are similar in big business.
The truth should hurt no one so if this post is expunged on the rules of no politics then. It is being taken out of context. JS.....

It may be taken out of actual meaning JS unfortunately as you know how things seem to go off track so fast especially when the word is used!
I will leave it on but close the Thread Sorry
