    Default Birds of Paradise

ONLY NEW GUINEA HAS THESE BIRDS LIVING IN THE

DEEP RAIN FORESTS. IT HAS TAKEN YEARS TO TRACK

THESE BIRDS AND STUDY THEIR EXISTENCE, WHY DO

THEY ONLY EXIST IN NEW GUINEA AND NOWHERE ELSE?

Beautiful on Full Screen… Sound on.

I have a pair nesting within earshot of my house. I've only seen them once, but hear them quite often. Also across the valley a pair of sulphur crested cockatoos.

Sulphur Crested Cocka too's are very common here in Oz, not sure if they came from your part of the world or ours but they are in abundance.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Lovely Birds those Sulphur Crested but they can and are a big pest here in the Mountains, attacking the Houses that are Built of Wood,
Also in the Season they flock in Hundreds and the noise they create is deafening even for me who is quite deaf!
They also make the Gum Trees look quite bare around here!
So for me,a shooting party would be just great!
Not to kill them all of course but just a wee bit of culling!
    Cheers
