    Does anyone know if the old floating harbour of Junks and Sampans is still there, ?

    That should be in Junk Bay Tony, I was last there in 2008 but didnt get to Junk Bay so Dont know if it still excists, Hong Kong has changed so much over the last few years it is hard to recognise it.

    tony i would think they are well gone by now the families on them worked hard and the smell of the joss sticks of a morning but what a place it was in the 60s i went ashore in Holt's own launch to the hospital after being scalded i was escorted by mercedes and a butler type with an umbrella i felt very important for the afternoon then i went missing till the next morning? what days?.JP

    Hello John, i expected that would be the answer, i think there are some floating resteraunts there, but all the Chinese living on the boats gone, allways wanted to see them, oh well too late now, hope you are well, best wishes, Tony

    You could be right there John, i read on Wikipedia a Resteraunt there that was there many years had to close because of staffing problems.
