Walter Beebee - died today aged 100yrs and 6 months

Dear all,

I am not sure if any of you will remember Walter Beebee, but he was a friend of my father's, Peter Kenyon, who both sailed on the Blue Funnel line many years ago. Walter (Wally) was my father's boss as Radio Engineer for the BMN. It is with deep regret to report that Walter Beebee passed away peacefully in hospital this morning aged 100yrs and 6months. His 100th birthday was on Xmas Day 2010. I am trying to find out what other ships he sailed on - am sure one was Xion?? I should be grateful if you would pass this news on to anyone who may have known Walter.

So sorry to hear of his Death,but he sure had a long life!
