    Default Service with Shell

    Hi Mick

I left Shell towards the end of 1974; my last trip was on the Medora. This was just before you joined by the sound of it. I enjoyed myself with Shell on H Boats and V Boats but Supertankers just didn't do it for me. I spent the rest of my time at sea on general cargo ships.

    Hi Mick,

Could you be the same Mick I sailed with on Hemiplecta in the 70s?

    Hi Mick,

I also sailed with shell between those years but cannot remember your name (apologies) I was on a GP contract and served on Hemiplecta, Amoria, Ficus Liparus, Drupa plus many more. My name is Martin Clark and live in Hampshire.

    Hi George,

I also sailed on Hemiplecta during the 70s and was part of the crew that took the old girl to the scrap yard but I cannot remember your name?

Hi Mick if my memory serves me well I was your 2cook on on the chatty natty as she was affectionately known, unfortunately you had to leave the ship early (too much drink i think) leaving me to run the galley single handed for a while until Bernie Harwin finally replaced you.i hope you're still checking the website I've only recently come across it so will be interested to see if it turns up any more old friends from my seafaring days

Hi Steve, hope life has been kind to you over the last 40 odd years?. I left Shell for the 2nd time in 95 and jumped into BP for 15 years just for a change. I done some consultancy work up to a couple of years back but am now retired back in Scotland. Brgds Bob.
