(2) AMAZON became Shaw Saville AKAROA

hi lads i was on the mataroa in the fifties and was in bluff at the same time as the tamaroa. i would think the one you were on must have been a newer ship

gday ian, sorry it has taken so long.Afraid it wasnt me in auckland.Iwas living in Wellington in 1983,then in June of that year me and the family went back to England.Because of my years in the merch.i got a job in a mental assylum,They said i was just the person they were looking for ( still dont get it ).It was proberbly my brother Mick you saw as he was on the coast at the time.Now we are living in aussie and retired and loving it,terry
