Freezing Cold, Coco,Top of the Pops, Polishing shoes and floors etc
That's some of my memories, nothing new to those who have been there
    though....
I have just updated my class photo with a name list, and thought a new
thread was a good idea to draw fellow members from these 2 years (I
was there end of 71 to beginning 72 ... Y class Deck

    Hi Les.
Welcome to the site, quite a few Peanuts been on the site over the years; still plenty around. I don't know if you know but there is a Gravesend web site. Like the Vindi boys they are all over the world, I live in Cooma which is in the wapwaps in NSW but I met a prison guard here who was at Gravesend in the 60s.
    Hope you enjoy your stay.
List your ships and dates you were on them, you never know there amy be ex shipmates on site.
    Cheers Des

I was at Gravesend April to August 1972, well remember the polishing, cleaning, GSK and boxing the compass. I also remember the shooting sessions with the admirals daughter and her awful arithmetic

Not quite as novel as Buxton. When I tried to phone home the operator thought it was spelt Bookston.
