    Dont see why not Keith, the RN had to recruit retired staff to get a competent crew together to sail away that aircraft carrier


    Shell never carried leckys, it was 3/e job

    The main problem with the T45 Destroyers is 'coking' of the gas turbine air compressor blades due to undersized air coolers ,even in the cold waters of the North aTLANTIC
    Whether they addressed the air cooler problem yet,I am not aware.
    The replacement diesel engines would seem but a temporary fix for an otherwise difficult problem with the gas turbines. Machinery space limitations seem to be also in the mix.
