#16 Jarmany Calling Jarmany Calling... The creepy part was his knowledge of various seagoing families in the NE. A family friend was mined and he lost his ship, but survived. He knew all the survivors names and where they were from, long before the families were informed by the War Office. He must have been a boon to the German Propoganda machine. Apparently the British Nazi party had quite a following in Britain with some very big names. The likes of Mosley had no fear of declaring his political beliefs and a few more of the aristocracy. Freedom of speech must also have been practised then if it suited. That's what gets me is the way that the communist party never seems to have candidates like they did years ago, have they all lost their political beliefs or are they frightened off by the various ministries devoted to seeking out trouble. These people do exist or they used to as I was approached on going to Russia on several occasions for certain things to look out for, but refused on principle, for which I was told I was not very loyal, he was lucky he didn't get a boot up his backside looking back now. Problem with most uniforms in those days the cloth I fear was cut with a knife and fork.

Sorry Doc not sure if this is the appropriate thread?

The Last Fighter Pilot of WWII who flew the last mission

Ask yourself, how many of the few surviving WWII veterans kept themselves and their uniform in such good condition for over 70 years and can still proudly wear it?

Notice his superb delivery, no teleprompter, no script --?? Just a 91-year-old American fighter pilot representing the greatest generation at home and abroad who won WWII.

He has some surprises and a great take on the philosophy of life.

Enjoy! Click here: The Last Fighter Pilot of WWII .....Mr Jerry Yellin Sorry you'll have to google
