    Default ‘Sealot’

I have a copy of my father’s Seaman’s Pouch. His service ran from 1941 to the late fifties.

The word ‘Sealot’ appears in at least a couple of places, followed by a reference number ( all different) of some sort. I’ve no idea what this refers to.

    Can anyone help ?

    Thanks.

Sealot is a reference to a passage on board a ship he was not signed on as crew. Possibly travelling as DBS back home.
"Across the seas where the great waves grow, there are no fields for the poppies to grow, but its a place where Seamen sleep, died for their country, for you and for peace" (Billy McGee 2011)
