    Default My father-in-law

Hi everyone, I'm looking for any information about what ships my father-in-law sailed on.

His name is Malcolm McMillan Morris, born 28/11/1941 in Greenock Scotland.

I have the following numbers which i believe are from his pouch, BT372/2102/45.

    R 685801-MORRIS M

Unfortunately Malcolm has recently passed away, after a few years of living with dementia & his daughters dont know a lot about the ships he worked on.

I know he sailed from Europe to South America and at some stage also sailed to New Zealand, where he actually jumped ship.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction to find out more, that would be much appreciated.

    Hello Timothy.

Hopefully, a few on the team will assist ASAP.

You have supplied some of the details generally,
requested including the discharge book number
R 685801 which is of great importance.

I will try to take a quick look myself this evening.

    All the best.

    Regards,

    Keith.

RE: Malcolm Malcolm McMillan Morris Morris.

    Progress slow so far.

Need to know is McMillan a middle Christian name, part of a
    double barrelled surname? etc.

Thank you so much everyone for your help

    - - - Updated - - -

McMillan is his middle Christian name but i believe in Scottish families the middle name is the mothers maiden name, thank you for your help

CRS10 should be in this Section

    Morris John to Morrish T J W

    Cheers

Then there are of course the Voyage Record Cards that you can also apply for at a cost again from the VCR Section of the Guildhall Library London
