    Thank you Hugh for your information. I have contacted Gibraltar Archives to see if they have any information but no reply as yet. I have also contacted National Achives KEW UK. The information I copied did not help. I have my dadís medals. The number G127732 is sown on page 2 of his discharge book under his last name reads service NYN or M/N G127732. Not sure what that means?
    Keith mentioned maybe he was hospitalized? Hopefully Gibraltar will provide some answers.
