Likewise Rob we beleive in having all of the available vaccinations and have done so. Found your post very interesting. I read some time ago about 40 - 60 percent of Europe was wiped out with disease caused by the Bubonic Plague (Rats and their fleas) were able to withstand the mini ice age, whereas humans succumbed to the disease as their immune systems were not able to cope. After this peroid some say that reforestatin took place due to the lowering of Co2 and the reduction in agriculture. Quite fascinating and brings home the delicate balance of nature. I suspect as always there are many different angles and opinions as to the causes.

Reminds me of the movie: The Command (1954)

The Native Americans had no immunity to smallpox or chicken pox and no medicine,
the good thing about this movie is the sympathy toward Native Americans.

It just struck me that whatever man does the nature nature has its own ways of fighting back and I was thinking of the outbreaks we have had of AIDS and of the ebola virus and green monkey fever whatever we do to nature it can certainly throw some challenges

    Hi John.
You are right biggest killer of men here and yet the test is free and easy, I have had prostate cancer for the last 15 years, three monthly implants keeping it down.

Des, I began with the PSA tests when they first became available on the PBS in 1999.
Regular testing every year until mid 2012 when things began to change.
March 2013 Prostate out as I had a Gleeson 9.
Told by surgeon that 'out' is the most effective way of dealing with it.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
