    Default Melbourne attack

Just been watching the video of today's incident in centre of Melbourne. How do you stop these ****holes?
Can only say that i would never be a successful cop as he would have been shot as soon as he approached my police car brandishing a large knife.

Had dinner last night with a friend, her son was over from USA on a visit, he lives in Texas.

This terrorist was shot, but only one shot.
    He since died.

Our Texan friend, born here in Oz said,

'In Texas it would not have been one shot but the whole clip, then interview him at the morge"

Thinking about it he is right, the only way to deal with them.
Problem here, as with any major city, is the underground element of terrorism which will pop up now and then, mainly individuals not groups thankfully.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

He wanted to go to Syria to join the baddies so Australian Immigration cancelled his Passport,

They should have let him go to Syria, then cancelled it so he could not come back, and that would have saved the life of an innocent Australian.,

    Hi Trevor.
The police did not shoot the scumbag straight away as he was racing about and there were always people behind him, the young constable who eventually shot him was only a three feet away and hit him in the middle of the chest he couldn't miss, he had only come out of the police academy three months before. Another hero {No not a footballer] was a homeless man who grabbed a shopping trolley and rammed it at the scumbag then fell over; got up and did it again and again I think he helped by confusing the prick. We have 400 who have been radicalized and the cost to keep an eye on them is in the $millions, there is now a call to ship them all out. And we still get people marching saying let them in.
    Cheers Des
