I remember somewhere over 40 years ago I would think when there was discussion about building nuclear merchant ships if I remember correctly it was called the Otto Haan , I know New Zealand banned all nuclear powered vessels from their Waters but I thought Australia did the same

We did Rob to the point that we banned a USA ship from entering our waters as she is nuclear powered.
That was a few years ago and we have to some degree eased that regulation for USA ships.
