    Default Fire in Las pamas

I remember one trip. Don't know what ship. We were on ship leave at Dollies bar in Las palmas (forgive spelling) there was a Fire on board another ship. That was a story.

    Oh yes that bar.
So many of the lads made a visit there and three days later found they had been given a present.

I think the ship on fire may have been the Cape Town Castle.

You are probably right . can't remember, a long time ago. The best known bar in Las palmas. You would go in we always ordered a bottle of Anniseed. That place can tell story's.

No doubt Vince, but now like so many other bars we knew around the world all gone.

Replaced by a far more exotic style no doubt in keeping with the demands of modern day people.
But they were good and we had some great times in them, memories are all we are left with now.
