Re: Air strikes
By what we saw in the news here today in Oz the USA is quite happy with the way things are.
Your PM gave some form of speech in parliament whilst the opposition leader said something about not listening to USA when it comes to stopping Syria or any other country.
Our parliament is satisfied on both sides with the manner in which this has been delivered, but it would appear the UK is divided on this.
Neither Russia or USA will rush into any major conflict, too much to lose, but they are happy to accuse each other of all manner of terrible crimes.
A bigger threat here which no one speaks of is Iran, if they came to the aid of Syria then it may well be on for young and old.
How far will Russia go to support Syria, not very I think. Putin is well aware of the dangers of becoming too involved.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Air strikes
Unfortunately the current leader of the opposition has had excellent contacts with people like hezbollah in the past and has shown incredible biased towards some of terrorist activities in the Middle East therefore I doubt that his view is a good balanced opinion . At the moment I believe that all up political oppositions are sensing a little bit of Weakness in the current government are that oppositions do they doing everything they can to oppose
