Re: Rolls Royce Concept
Item on French news tonight about shipping and pollution. They showed various ship sat sea. Small box boats with a huge para sail and the owners of the vessel were claiming over 10% on fuel costs. Another showed pair of Car carriers fitted with two !! Cyclonic !! cylinders which disappeared done through the decks and these were driving generators which appeared to be forming part of an electric drive? Also they had CMA CGM box boat and as soon as she came alongside she went on shore power. Obviously idea is to cut down on emissions from the ship.
Great to see an item like this on the national news, very informative.
