And the Wight shipbuilders base on the Isle of Wight won an order to build a new ferry for overseas customers last week.

It's just nice to see shipbuilding orders in UK, the other ferry firm here on the Island is Wightbay, or know locally as Shitebay, have just had their new ferry built in Turkey, kt

I firmly believe once the wrangling stops between the E.U and G.B. And the Tory government get there act together and negotiate a deal we will be ok in this country within a few years. Look where we are on the map and the trading we could be doing out side the E.U. And my own thoughts are don,t be so bullish with Trump we should be embracing the U.S.A not distancing them, Trump wont be around forever and the special relationship we have with the U.S.A. For years not months should not be compromised we both and always have stood together side by side and i suspect we will have to stand with them at some point once again, Safety in numbers. Terry.

This goes to prove the concept put forward by a number of overseas economists that the UK will survive well after BREXIT.
There is no reason why it should be otherwise.
Once the shackles of EU ate shaken off UK will be able to trade with any nation it wishes, something EU regulations do not allow.

Has anyone noticed that in any t.v. debate over Brexit, the remainers always want to talk over anyone expressing a different view?
This morning on the Adam Boulton hour on Sky there was the head of a movement that is dedicated to reversing the referendum vote. In her wisdom she stated that it is disasterous for us to leave an institution that we were one of the most powerful members of!!!!
She should have tried telling that to Dave the rave, who in an attempt to swerve having to hold the referendum went round Europe attempting to get a better deal for us but came back with a deal that was as good as Chamberlain's peace in our time, deal from a former German chancellor.

They think that everything is one way from Europe, recently they were discussing aero parts that come to UK to complete the aircraft being built here, do they really think that the companies that make those parts in Europe will be very happy not to sell us those parts ???, of course not. I see that today in the news that the EU has dropped the *punishment clause * for the transition period. Make no mistake that many EU countries are worried about the supposed hard line by EU negotiaters . There will be a sudden change of heart at the final hour by EU, just wait and see, . Its all about losing our dosh, kt

I think the very least at the moment that should have already happened is that all of the self glorifying portraits of those ministers who signed the ridiculous conditions applying to the EU. should be removed from the portals of Parliament. The same way as others in different walks of life have been removed from all Regal and Government departments. After all we see no public pictures of Hitler unless in the Chamber of Horrors. They talk of removing Nelsons Column, they want to get their prioritys right. Get the bums off the walls for starters. JS

Two German outfits have done very nicely out of shoppers in there grocery supermarkets, There profits have gone through the roof as shoppers seek cheaper grocery's as oppose to inflationary hit traditional British outlets such as,

Aldi and Lidl's sales rose at the fastest rate since 2015 taking their joint market share to 12%
    Sales growth
    %
    Aldi
    Lidl
    Ocado
    Iceland
    Waitrose
    Morrisions
    Tesco
    Sainsbury's
    Co-op
    Asda

Does anyone think for one minute German owned Aldi, and Lidl, Will not be trading with Britain after we pull the plug on the strangle hold of the E.U. Me thinks not.
