    Default Rnli.

There was a very good program on BBC2 this evening 'Saving Lives at Sea.' It showed the Lifeboat Crews during actual rescues of people. animals, ships and believe it on not an aeroplane all around the UK Coast. If it comes on again try and watch it.

    John.

Hi John, Very good program, that was number five of 12 programs, so get the old recorder out. The film of them getting a line on board the tanker was brilliant, keeping the lifeboat there as the tanker reared up in the sea was scary, kt

Thanks Bill, I think we all have an inherent interest in the RNLI and admire and thank all those on the front line

My mistake Ivan, but some good filming anyway, not only once to do the job, but twice !!. When i was in the Fire Service here on the Island, we did quite a lot of work with the lifeboat, i,ve been winched on and off her a few times by helicopter , mainly the Yarmouth lifeboat with the coxswain now retired Dave Kennett, kt

    Penarth Lifeboat Station

Preparation for our fashion week @penarthfashion 9-14th October. Plus the reveal of this fabulous RNLI Flag Dress designed by @GeorginaGracex and modelled by @gabyharding.

Thanks to all those helping support this great fundraising week of events. Raising money for @RNLIPenarth.
