You would see a big difference in Halifax now, when I came in 1972 it was little more than a shanty town but now a very vibrant city, as the 173 cruise ships for this year will attest. Don't recall a pub called the captains table, decent pubs were few and far between in those days. My fond memories are of the 'Griff Inn' In the hotel Nova Scotia plus a few others. Happy Days.
