These kind of threads should stay on course as Doc has stated.

And as always Vernon you have done an excellent job of it. Good to see the members having a bit of banter rather than a bit of Agro.

Yes Lew was in the UK and me and Terry met up with him in Liverpool on Wednesday for a few jars and a most enjoyable afternoon in good company.I thought that I would have no trouble recognizing Terry as he had been in my house a couple of times although it was some ten years ago.I was sitting by the window about three yards from these two guys and I was continually looking out of the window wondering when Lew and Terry are going to appear,I began to think that they were not going to show up when one of these guys said aren't you Jimmy,it was Terry of course,we had sat there for half an hour without recognizing each other.

Jim was that used to seeing Ted with a pot of red lead that he didn’t reconize him. When the powers to be outlawed all lead based paints, they didn’t realise the way of life of others they were interfering with. Cheers JWS

    Good afternoon all,

Hope you are all ship-shape and Bristols fashion!

Update, I am going to be using the links that Doc Vernon pointed me in the direction of,(the Libraries), especially now that we now think that the ship was the MV England with the view to a crew list which will, hopefully show some indication to a name that will correspond with some information that I am hopeful of getting via my 2nd Cousin. Obviously there is a lot of hope (being the main ingredient) that everything comes together as I would like it to.

    To Keith and others,

We have now booked our holiday to Cornwall and will be staying in Carlyon Bay for 2wks. If you and others would still be interested meeting up with us for a while, we would love to meet you. Our dates are from: 7th July to 21st July.
Nearer the holiday time, Kevin will give you his Moby number via a private email and if you wanted to send a text back and open up the line of Comms, we can arrange a day/date/time to see you, if you still want to. It is a shame you live so far away, Doc because you are more than welcome too.

Of course, our whole intention is to see Viv and my other Family members but to equally have a fantastic holiday. We will have Zac with us as well.

    So on that note,

Thanks for all the help, encouragement and best wishes. The search still goes on.

    Have a great day

    Beverley.
