P.s. have sent cappy on a wild goose chase down south chasing a rumour that a new oak wood leg is available in the Severn valley for 3 shillings
Those legs are only three shillings John but the delivery is three years next Thursday

Four fingers of Scotch in a glass.

It all depends on how far the fingers ae apart when pouring.

    Blue label at that price?
Last year in Noumea I saw in the local bottle shop the same stuff, well it was a blue bottle and said JW was only about $50.

But of course when you return to the ship it is put in bond until the end of the cruise.
By which time there is little you can do about the Metho or what ever it may be.

I must admit to being very wary of local spirits after a couple of bad experiences , would rather avoid anything at unbelievably too good to be true prices

My ten day penance ended last night, just in time for an invite form next door to go for a drink.
They are off to Singapore next week for a break so a departure drink was in order.
It felt oh so good to be back on it again.
Arrived at 1930 hours for what we thought would be just a couple.
Thankfully only next door when we arrived home at 0200 hours.

For some reason the path to our house appeared to be moving, but it was a frosty night last night.

Did they look like white sheets Rob ? The spirits that is, Maybe that’s where the saying came from 2 sheets in the wind. Try the coloured ones they may not be so scary. Cheers JS
