That was probably the Town Green, a great pub in those days. We used to go on a Sunday lunchtime (No games on Sundays in those days) The only connection I can think of was that Gerry's next door neighbour then was Roy Evans, then a Liverpool player. We used to meet up with other players, such as, Ian Callaghan, Geoff Strong etc. for a couple of pints.
Great memories eh!
There was a great turnout for Gerry's funeral (Must be 6 years ago now) and I still miss our get togethers & numerous telecons
We still keep in touch with his family
