    G'day Archie welcome aboard.
In your time with P&O did you ever meet with a Keith Levett?
Very good mate of mine who was with P&O from about 1960 for a couple of years.
He was a cabin boy to begin with and then ast steward.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

G'day Archie. Were you on the Oriana when she did the pacific run to Oz via Fiji. Before your time after leaving the MN returned to Oz, via a visit to my sister in Fiji, on the 'Orcades'. here's a nice picture of her there.

Cappy, I just dream of those big, fat, juicy kippers at the Seamens Mish down Commercial Road in London. With chips an bread and butter - all for 1/6 pence. Had a steak down that way when meat was rationed. Glad it was long digested when I mentioned it to someone who responded, "That was knackered horse meat"
