Re: Off to Sunny Fleetwood.
Just arrived home again after 10 days in sunny Fleetwood.
It really was sunny and hot, I like it there, no mozzies.
Unfortunately no more fishing vessels, due to that stupid EU Rules. The French , Belgian and Spanish trawlers in the Irish Sea British sector and in Morecambe Bay, take the catch to France and then bring it all the way back into Fleetwood in container Lorries.
I was in the fish market talking to the Froggy Drivers, they were Laughing at us.
TIME TO GET OUT
cheers
Brian

Hey Brian,Welcome back from Sunni Faisalabad (twinned with Fleetwood).
Yes,I too was on the North West Frontier yesterday, but in Blackpool, now twinned with Bahawalpur and it's been proper 'ot,I say, proper 'ot.
Here's a couple of postcards from the Twin Towns:
Faisalabad Ferry.jpgFaisalabad Ferry-Temporarily Suspended-someone forgot to put t'plug in.
Bahawalpur Tower.jpg Bahawalpur Tower- "Visitors to Top Viewing Platform will kindly not throw rupee coins off there,as too many beggars below receiving holes in heads trying to catch them. Please thank you."
