    I seem to think that this is the Modern standing stone on Wholestone Moor, Longwood - to the White Rose Forest and Kirklees Council.

    Okay a clue on the stone , it is not in England, and is Mourne Granite

    Must be somewhere in Ireland as that is where Mourne Granite is from??

    Yes the stone is in County Down. It does have a tie with Ships and shipping so it is not just a random post

    I looked at County Down but as yet Zilc!

    Not the Long Stone or Ballyhalbert Standing Stone??

    Was it one of E.R. Management co. Ltd. of Cardiff . If it is the Kenkon Maru she was under the Japanese flag. And had various names and finished up as a fish factory ship the Renshin Maru.. Built 1951, Renamed Fujsan Maru 1961. As fish factory ship Renshin Maru was sold to Taiwan breakers in 1964. Cheers JWS.

    Reference the stone quiz - pretty sure this is the Heyn Family stone. They founded the Ulster Steamship Company known as the `Head Line`. The stone is at Ballyvester, County Down.
