Yes the stone is in County Down. It does have a tie with Ships and shipping so it is not just a random post

Was it one of E.R. Management co. Ltd. of Cardiff . If it is the Kenkon Maru she was under the Japanese flag. And had various names and finished up as a fish factory ship the Renshin Maru.. Built 1951, Renamed Fujsan Maru 1961. As fish factory ship Renshin Maru was sold to Taiwan breakers in 1964. Cheers JWS.
