Any one out there who sailed on her /1960/ 61
Would like to get in touch with you,as it was a great time of my life.
We sailed from immingham.

Hi, The Dunelmia was my first ship, joined her at the Mercantile Dry Dock Jarrow, from May 1960 'till December 1960.
I think you must have sailed from Immingham after we paid off their on December 15th.1960.
I am living in South Shields now, happy memories of Durban and Livorno etc.

Joined her in the Middle Docks South Sheilds 1966.Clan line Charter.Loaded in Bordieux.for Karachi.Via the Suez,Ceylon,India,Ceylon. Back Via South Africa. as the Suez had been Closed due to the Arab/Israeli war,Full cargo of rubbish,Bones,skins tea ,okra for Belfast & Liverpool.Can"t say i enjoyed the trip 6 Months on the Indian coast.Dry ship not even a library aboard.Fifty Six Days,Columbo to Belfast,What a flyer.Still i suppose it was an experience..A.Clark
