HMS Hermes warship 'thefts': Two men charged

Two men have been charged with removing historical artefacts from a sunken World War One Royal Navy warship in the English Channel.

HMS Hermes was sunk by a German submarine in the Dover Strait in 1914.

Kent Police started investigating in 2015 with several other bodies in England and France after a number of items were reported missing from the wreck.

Both men have been bailed to appear before Margate magistrates on 2 March.
