Hello,
I sailed on SS Corinthic on 27th June 1953 back to London.
Does anyone know the route that this voyage took?
Thanks in advance Richard

Would be useful to know where you boarded!

Hello Richard, if the last port was in NZ it would probably be the same as we did on the SS Gothic a number of times in 1951/52/53. Pitcairn Island, Panama (Cristobal/Colon), Curacao (usually Bullan Bay), Liverpool or London. Sometimes also Suva, Fiji.
You were often the next SS&A cab off the rank and I think it was the Corinthic that we took over from as the aborted Royal Tour when our schedules were delayed during the Nationwide NZ dock strike in 1951.

Thanks gents, really appreciate that.
Yes, we sailed from Wellington back to London.
I was only a child and remember sailing out on the SS Captain Hobson via the panama canal and Pitcairn but for some reason couldn't remember the way back.
Wondered if it may have ben via Capetown or Suez.

May have been Richard but even if so it is highly unlikely SS&A would have taken the Suez route. My guess is that from Wellington you would have gone back through the Panama Canal. Being the sister ship of Gothic we arrived in London in March, 1953 which would have your Corinthic voyage scheduled as the next 80 passenger freezer cargo SS&A in the slot.
