It is with sadness that I must tell you of John's Crossing Of The Bar.Many of you will remember John from both the Liverpool and Southern meet ups.He was always there with his mate John Dee and on photos etc they were the two Johns.I believe that Johns funeral service will take place on Monday next at 10am at Our Lady Star Of The Sea Seaforth.I've been a friend of John for many years and he had enjoyed good health upto recent times.
Regards.

Hi Jim
Didnt know John Rimmer, but do know of J Dee,anyhow please can you convey my sincere Condolences to his immediate Family and Friends!
I know he like the many others who have crossed the Bar will be sadly missed.
It seems like the time is here when more and more of the old Salts are leaving us to go to possibly a better place!
May he RIP and may his Sails take him to the far off distant places he would have remembered!
With Respect
Doc
